Private banking strategies like The Double Play require a maximum over-funded life insurance policy to get the most benefit. Not every "over-funded" policy is funded right up to the legal Maximum (Minimum non-MEC). The best way to know that your policy design is funded right to the minimum non-MEC threshold is to look at the ratio of the cash value to the premium in the first policy year of your Illustration.
